Meet Dr. Marynick

Dr. Marynick is recognized as one of the country's premier Endocrinologists. He has over 30 years of experience and knowledge covering reproductive endocrinology - infertility, pituitary disorders, growth hormone deficiency and other disorders producing short stature and all areas involved in the practice of general endocrinology and metabolism.

He is board certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism and is a founding member of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists.

As documented in the CDC reported IVF statistics, the Texas Center for Reproductive Health, where Dr. Marynick has practiced since 1989, has reported exceptional pregnancy rates for the last 18 years. His attention to detail and an office staff with years of patient care experience help maintain a high level of excellence regarding patient care.

Program Director for the Texas Center for Reproductive Health, Dr. Marynick is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology-Metabolism, Andrology and Embryology and High Complexity Laboratory Testing.

Dr. Marynick received his M.D. at the University of Texas (Southwestern) Medical School in Dallas and completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

From 1974-1977, Dr. Marynick studied under world leaders in human reproductive medicine as a Fellow in Endocrinology at the Reproduction Research Branch of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

In 1977 he returned to Dallas and joined the staff of Baylor University Medical Center in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology. In 1983 after attending a national symposium on IVF/ET in Carmel, California, Dr. Marynick became dedicated to learning all aspects of human embryology and how to apply his training to help couples achieve pregnancy by using in-vitro fertilization / embryo transfer and other assisted reproduction treatments

Dr. Marynick opened his private practice in 1977, specializing in endocrinology and reproductive medicine, and was one of the first private practitioners to use Pergonal® for ovulation induction in the Dallas area with his first Pergonal® baby delivered in 1977.

Dr. Marynick performed his first in vitro fertilization / embryo transfer cycle in December of 1989 with two healthy  babies born the following August (1990).

He has conducted both basic and clinical research in general and reproductive endocrinology and the results of his studies have appeared in publications such as The New England journal of Medicine, the Journal of Clinical Investigation, The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, and the Annals of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Marynick's professional interests extend beyond his own medical practice. Over the years, he has worked to train medical students, interns, residents, practicing physicians and patients.

Dr. Marynick is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, a Fellow of the College of Reproductive Biology, a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the Endocrine Society, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (serving on the ASRM Sessions Management Committee), the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, the Reproduction Biology Professional Group, the American Society of Internal Medicine, the Texas Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Society and the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction and Urology.

He is also an Attending Physician at Baylor University Medical Center, and Clinical Associate Professor in Internal Medicine at University of Texas (Southwestern) Medical School.
