Acne

Acne is a common condition and may be related to a hormonal imbalance which often occurs with the onset of puberty.

Though all patients with acne will not have a hormonal imbalance, patients where a hormonal imbalance is found may experience a marked improvement in their acne when the hormonal imbalance is treated to normalize hormonal levels that are out of line.

In cases of acne where conventional treatment is not effective the finding of hormonal imbalance contributing to the acne is not unusual.
